The project is for installation of backflow prevention assemblies and related work at various District sites. Bidders must possess a valid California contractor license (A, C-34, C-36, or C-12), depending on the scope bid, at the time of bid. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements under California Labor Code Section 1720 et seq. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to California Labor Code Section 1725.5. For bids over $25,000, proposals must include bid security equal to 10% of the bid. The successful bidder shall provide 100% payment and performance bonds pursuant to California Civil Code Section 9550.
