Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified/cashier's check in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract Documents and execute the bonds on the provided forms and provide the required insurance certificates and bonds within seven (7) days after receipt of the Contract Documents. If a certified or cashier's check is provided, the original must be delivered within one (1) business day of receipt of the bid opening.
