Sealed proposals are requested for the supply of materials to Dover Township. The materials and quantities required are: 2,050 tons of crushed aggregate, 200 tons of AS2 or AS3 anti-skid, 50 tons each of AASHTO #1, #3, #67, and #8, 150 tons of AASHTO #57, 200 tons of PennDOT Select Granular Material-2RC, 800 tons of PennDOT 2A, 100 tons each of R-3, R-4, R-5, and R-6 Rip Rap, and 50 tons each of R-7 and R-8 Rip Rap. Additionally, 550 tons of Superpave Mixture (200 tons 9.5 mm, PG 64S-22, 100 tons 9.5 mm, PG 64S-22, 100 tons 19.5 mm, PG 64S-22, 50 tons 25 mm, PG 64S-22, and 100 tons 25 mm, PG 64S-22) are required. Also included are 50 tons of latex modified cold patch and 34 cubic yards of Class AAA 4000 PSI concrete. There is a 2 per hour additional charge for truck and operator for delivery requiring more than half an hour at the job site. Bidders must submit a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid, and, upon award, furnish performance and payment bonds. All proposals must utilize PennDOT forms. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make an award in the best interest of the Township.
