Sealed bids are requested for two individual projects. Project 1 includes base repair by milling and patching with 25mm Base at 5 inch depth for approximately 1150 SY, and applying 9.5mm Superpave Leveling for approximately 66 tons. Materials for Project 1 will be provided by the Township, and the Township will offer a location for disposal of millings. Project 2 involves chip seal equipment and fog seal application, including use of a 20' computerized chip spreader with operators (10 hours), 20' computerized asphalt distributor with operator (20 hours), laborer (20 hours), 9-wheel pneumatic rubber tire roller with operator (10 hours), tri-axle dump truck with chipping bars (24 hours), ATSAA certified flag person for chip seal operation (40 hours), truck mounted pick-up broom with operator (10 hours), kick off style sweeper with operator (10 hours), equipment mobilization, and Grip Tite Fog Seal delivered (1250 gallons). Each bid must include a bid guarantee of not less than 10% of the base bid, in the form of a bid bond or certified check. Bidders must review the project with the Township Road Master prior to submitting a bid. All proposals must use the forms provided by the Township. For Project 1, a performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of contract is required within 20 days of award. For Project 2, a performance bond or certified check in the amount of 50% of contract is required within 20 days of award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
