This project will not be awarded until approved by the FAA, which won't be for approximately 90 days. The project consists of the acquisition of new mechanical front wheel drive (MFWD) tractor, snow blower, bucket loader, and snow pusher blade with back drag for Pocahontas Municipal Airport. Bidders must furnish all labor, materials, and equipment and perform all work necessary for the acquisition. Bids will only be accepted from bidders receiving contract documents directly from QuestCDN or Kirkham Michael. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five percent of the total amount of the bid, either by certified check or bid bond made payable to the City of Pocahontas, Iowa. Bidders shall make and document good faith efforts to meet the established goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises participation as defined in Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.
