Renovation of the 22,000 square foot Payne County Health Department will consist of four individual phases run consecutively. In addition to the renovation, a storm shelter will be added onto the facility along with site improvements. Bids are invited for multiple bid packages covering a wide range of construction areas including selective demolition, concrete, masonry, structural steel, metal fabrication, wood casework, carpentry, joint sealants, roofing, doors, glazing, framing, ceilings, flooring, painting, wall coverings, specialties, signage, partitions, window treatments, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, and fencing. All bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site to familiarize themselves with existing conditions. Bids must be received in a sealed envelope with required markings and documentation. Each envelope must be clearly marked with the words "SEALED BID," the project name, bid package, and closing date, along with the bidder's name. Bids must be delivered to the Payne County Clerk's Office only. Bidders are required to submit a Contractor's Qualification Statement, provide bid security (bid bond) of five percent for bids over $50,000, and include payment and performance bonds in the base bid amount for bids over $50,000. All bids must be submitted on the provided bid form and are irrevocable for 60 days after submission. Additional required documents include payment & performance bond, statutory bond, bond maintenance, nondiscrimination certificate, non-collusion affidavit, business relationship affidavit, felony and sex offender affidavit, and bid bond (if applicable). Bidding documents must be obtained directly from the Construction Manager so bidders can be registered and receive all clarifications and addenda electronically free of charge.
