Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hillsboro, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The Town of Forest is accepting sealed bids for the following: single and double asphalt chip seal coat (20' 1" wide) with single application over a hard surface, single application over a hard surface, and double application over a gravel surface. Bidders are required to include seal coat specifications in their bids. Bids are also requested for crushed rock products (delivered and picked up) meeting State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation specifications, road sand for winter treatment of roads, and trucking and machine hire (with a list of equipment, size, and hourly rate for equipment and operator). Contractor proof of insurance for road materials and seal coat must be included. Bids must be sealed, and the envelope marked with the specific bid category: 'Summer Bid-Gravel', 'Summer Bid-Seal Coating', 'Road Sand', or 'Machine Hire'. The Town of Forest reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or award the contract to the bidder deemed most advantageous by the town board.
