Furnishing and installation of guardrails at 1 Moshassuck Street. Proposals must be mailed or hand-delivered in a sealed envelope marked with the RFP/Bid # and project name to Pawtucket City Hall - Purchasing Office, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI 02860. A bid surety in the form of a bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Pawtucket is required in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid price. Upon award of contract, a performance and payment bond in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the bid price must be submitted. The process and contract are subject to the Rules and Regulations and General Terms and Conditions of Purchase. Submission of a bid acknowledges acceptance of these terms. The City of Pawtucket reserves the right to award on the basis of cost alone, to accept or reject any or all bids, and to act in its best interest. Generally, the Contractor’s scope of Work shall consist of prepping and installing approximately 1,200 linear feet of steelbacked guardrails following completion of newly installed concrete sidewalks that is projected to be completed in May 2026 which is separate from this RFP. All efforts to install the guardrails will be contingent upon concrete Contractor’s completion of new sidewalks that will be coordinated with the owner (City of Pawtucket) and contrete Contractor.
