Questions Due Date: May 1st 2026, 5:00 PM CDT These specifications and accompanying drawings are for the Water Main Extensions at Northwestern Street and West Hastings Ave. in Amarillo, Texas. A. This bid is to be awarded as one lot. B. The bidder will provide all the work, superintendence, labor, tools, equipment, machinery and apparatus and whatever else may be necessary to complete the project as stated in this bid. The Contractor will be supplying all materials, equipment and labor. C. The estimated budget for the project is $3,253,722.00 D. In case of discrepancy between unit price and the extension, the unit price will be taken. The Work is located in the City of Amarillo, and consists of three distinct segments. o Line A is a proposed 12-inch water main beginning on the southeast corner of North Western St. and West Hastings Ave. It starts about 800' feet south of the intersection and proceeds north along North Western St. and east along West Hastings Ave. It connects into an existing 12-inch water main just west of Temecula Creek Blvd. Total length of Line A is approximately 9400 linear feet. o Line B is proposed 12-inch water main that connects to an existing 12-inch water main at Temecula Creek Blvd. and West Hastings Ave. and proceeds east along West Hastings, connecting into an existing 16-inch water main in Broadway Dr. Total length of Line B is approximately 1050 linear feet. o Line C is a proposed 12-inch water main that connects to Line A and proceeds south along the east side of North Western St., ending just north of the BNSF railroad. Total length of Line C is approximately 3288 linear feet. B. The work includes, but is not limited to, installation of fire hydrants, air valves, flush points, paving, landscaping, ground restoration, storm water pollution prevention measures, traffic control, and all other Work required in accordance with the Contract Documents.
