Site work for a water / sewer project in Hillsboro, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed Bids are sought for furnishing all materials, labor, and necessary items for the improvements of the existing lagoon and related appurtenances as outlined in the Plans and Specifications. Bids must be submitted on the furnished Bid forms and will be on a lump sum price basis, using the two-envelope system: Envelope #1 with required bid documents and Envelope #2 with only the bid form and bid schedule. A five percent (5%) Bid Bond or certified cashier's check must accompany all Bids. The successful Bidder must furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. Required documents include Bid Bond, Acknowledgement of Addenda, evidence of a valid West Virginia Contractor's License, WV Drug Free Workplace affidavit, WVCAD Section 3 Policy and Procedure documents, Certification of Non-Segregated Facilities, Equal Employment Opportunity Certification, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Certification, and Build America, Buy America Act Certification. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, and requirements for prevailing wage rates, paying the higher of state or federal wage rates. The signed Drug-Free Workplace affidavit must be included in the first envelope or the bid will be disqualified. All bidders must have a valid WV contractor's license. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. No bids may be withdrawn within 90 days after opening.
