The G11 project proposes to improve the east portion of the existing University parking lot G11, as well as adjacent pedestrian walkways and street crossings. The project includes new Americans with Disabilities Act accessible parking stalls, path of travel upgrades, and a new accessible shuttle stop. The G14 project proposes infill of the existing University parking lot G14 and improvements to adjacent parking and pedestrian areas. The work proposed for each project location is in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by SHN. XPL344 G11 & PLY114 G14 Bid proposals must be emailed in accordance with contract documents. Questions shall be made in writing and submitted by email. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be prequalified with the Trustees and submit their prequalification applications no less than ten (10) business days prior to the bid due date. The successful bidder is required to achieve three percent (3%) DVBE participation in contracting construction projects. Bidders and all tiers of subcontractors must be registered to bid and work on public works projects with the Department of Industrial Relations and maintain current registration pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. Each bidder must comply with Bidding provisions of Article 2.00 et seq. in the Contract General Conditions. Each bidder shall be familiar with all provisions of the Contract General Conditions and Supplementary General Conditions, especially Insurance Requirements for the CSU Builders Risk Insurance Program (BRIP) and, if applicable, the CSU Owner-Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP).
