Site work for a water / sewer project in Lake Placid, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids will be received on behalf of the Town of North Elba at the office of the Town Clerk, 2693 Main Street, Lake Placid, NY 12946, not later than 1:00 pm. local time prevailing, April 23, 2026, and there publicly opened and read immediately thereafter for the construction of the following Project: Ray Brook Water District Water Supply System Improvements Phase 2. The key components for the construction of this project can be found on the website. 1. Maintain operation of the existing system until new improvements are completed and approved for operation . 2. Remove specified trees , grade site as shown , install fencing , asphalt and gravel pavement, top soil , seedand mulch . 3. Install the specified well pumps , related piping , electrical and pump control lines to the pump house . 4. Install a new pumphouse, electrical service , and stand-by power system. 5. Install and test all controls . 6. Install 300 LF at 24 " diameter water main . 7. Crossing of Ray Brook with of 8" diameter water main by directional boring 8. Install approximately 400 LF of 8" diameter water main to Brookside Lane with open trench excavation connect with existing 8" water main . 9. Install new gravel access road pavement from Brookside Lane to well field site gate . 10. Restoration of work areas .
