The project consists of gas distribution system modifications, specifically for the 2026 OPU Gas System Improvements covering the 18th St Gas Improvement Project and the Main St Gas Improvement Project. The contract duration is for one year (2026) and bids are to be based on estimated unit price quantities for the year. The project is contingent on budget availability and commission approval. All bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bidder's Bond, or Cashier's Check payable to Owatonna Public Utilities for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount as security to ensure contract entry and performance bond provision as outlined in the specifications. Bids must be securely sealed and delivered to the specified address, with the project title clearly written on the envelope. Bids will be opened publicly immediately after the closing time.
