The project is expected to be awarded on May 13,2026.** Santa Cruz City Schools will receive sealed bids for the NEW FENCE AND GATE INSTALLATION, 2026-01. The work must be performed according to the Contract Documents, including the drawings and specifications, which are available electronically from 19six Architects. Bids must be based on the amount of the base bid, and the lowest bid will determine the contract award. The Contract Time is one hundred (100) calendar days, and liquidated damages for delay will apply. Construction must be completed in 120 calendar days from notice of award. All bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least ten percent (10%) of the base bid. The successful bidder must provide a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond, each for one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. Alternatives for substitution of securities or establishing an escrow in lieu of retainage are provided. Bidders must hold a valid Class "A, B, or C-13" California contractor license at the time of award and must be registered and qualified under Labor Code section 1725.5 for public works projects over $25,000. Prevailing wage rates must be paid. No bids will be accepted from unlicensed contractors, and facsimile copies are not accepted. Bids are due at the specified time and location.
