This is a non-personal services contract for vault pumping services for the Forest Service, Sitka Ranger District, Tongass National Forest, Southeast Alaska. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services. Contract service providers are accountable solely to the contractor, who is responsible to the Government for performance. The purpose of this contract is to ensure that vaults and septic equipment located within the Sitka Ranger District remain safe, sanitary, and fully operational throughout the open season. Services shall support continuous, reliable, and sanitary operation of all units and ensure compliance with all applicable Environmental Protection Agency, National Environmental Policy Act, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and all other items necessary to provide vault pumping services at multiple sites within the Sitka Ranger District. Services include pumping, sewage disposal, cleaning, and backfilling to ensure all units remain safe, sanitary, and operational. All services shall be performed in accordance with this Performance Work Statement and all applicable local, state, and federal standards, laws, and regulations.
