Site work and paving for a road / highway in Gary, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed bids will be received for the City of Gary 2026 Traffic Signal Improvement Project. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the Clerk/Treasurer, as security for execution of the contract. Bids must also include a fully completed and executed State of Indiana Form 96 (latest edition), a fully completed and executed Non-Collusion Affidavit of Prime Bidder, Bid Bond, Bidder's current Affirmative Action Program, and Required MWBE Subcontractor Commitment Form. Bids must be submitted on the prescribed Bid form and be fully completed and executed. The contract will require the successful bidder to furnish separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract price before commencing work. The City of Gary will consider all relevant facts in determining the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and may waive informalities or minor defects in bids as deemed in the city's best interest. Bidders may be required to provide additional information for investigation of qualifications and past dealings with the city may be considered in the award decision. No bid documents will be issued after 4:00 PM (local time) on April 27, 2026.
