The work consists of furnishing, supplying, and installing all necessary hardware, equipment, and labor for an NCDOT-approved traffic signal installation at the intersection of NC 150 Bypass and SR 1236/SR 1175. The contractor must be pre-approved by NCDOT for traffic signal installation work. Bids are to be submitted for a single prime contract on a unit price basis. The project duration is expected to be 120 days. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly labeled with the contract information and contractor's license number/NCDOT number on both the inside and outside. Bids will not be accepted from bidders who do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. Questions regarding specifications or requirements must be submitted by the stated deadline and may only be answered via written addenda.
