The project consists of the construction of the Doster Creek Lift Station and Force Main Improvements, which includes lift station rehabilitation and the installation of approximately 1,467 lineal feet of 12-inch C900 DR 14 force main pipe in Jackson County, Georgia. Except as designated by the Authority, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, transportation apparatus, fuel, light and tools necessary for the entire completion of the project as outlined herein and shall construct in the best and most workmanlike manner the complete job and everything properly incidental thereto as shown on the plans, stated in the specifications, or reasonably implied there from, all in accordance with the Contract Documents, ready for occupancy and/or use in all respects. 1. The work consists of: a. Division I - Lift Station: Furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for removing and replacing the existing pumps with 2 submersible pumps and rehabilitating the existing wetwell. Removing, upgrading, and replacing the existing emergency bypass, valve vault; yard piping; removing and disposing of the existing above ground pumps and housing; electrical and all related items including but not limited to clearing, erosion control, earthwork (including rock removal), sheeting, shoring, de-watering, site work, fencing, testing and start-up, and other incidentals as required for a complete and operational facility. b. Division II - Furnishing all labor, materials (except the pipe material being furnished by JCWSA), shortening the existing 7,831- foot length of forcemain by integrating a new 1,467-foot section of pipe resulting in a reduced total length of 4,587-feet. The pipeline modifications must occur while maintaining continuous management of incoming wastewater flows to prevent environmental hazards or service interruptions. All work will adhere to environmental regulations, including proper disposal of drained materials and temporary bypassing of flows, with a focus on safety of workers and the surrounding community. The shortening of the forcemain will significantly reduce the downstream head condition of the station such that final tie-in of the shortened route and the completion of the pump station rehab/swap will need to occur simultaneously LOCATION The project is in the westerly district of Jackson County Georgia in Jefferson Georgia within and along the temporary construction and/orsewer easements among the following parcels, 105 028, 105 008A, 105 011 7F, 105 011 6F, 105 011 5F,105 011 4F, 105 011 3F1, 105G OPEN2A, 105J 009, 105J 010, 105J 011, 094 009 2, 094 043, and 094 042. All bidders must submit a Contractor E-Verify Affidavit. Bids not accompanied by this affidavit will be considered non-responsive and immediately rejected.
