Renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Jefferson, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
The intent and purpose of this request is to obtain services for security renovations and additions to the Jackson County Courthouse Entrance at 5000 Jackson Parkway, Jefferson, GA. The work shall be performed according to industry standards to the satisfaction of Jackson County, under the supervision of the architect who will inspect all work. Upon award, the contractor will execute a contract and perform all work in accordance with the bid schedule and prices outlined in the proposal, starting within thirty days of Notice to Proceed and completing within specified time frames. Materials must meet state and local requirements and be from approved vendors. The contractor is responsible for scheduling and coordination with the project manager and architect. Payment will be made only on architect-approved invoices. A bid bond for 5% of the base bid is required with submission and performance and payment bonds at 100% of the contract price are required if awarded. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference, submit all questions in writing, and use the official forms supplied. Jackson County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities, and award in the county's best interest. See detailed specifications and additional instructions provided.
