The Group IV work includes earth excavation (659 cubic yards), geotechnical fabric for ground stabilization (796 square yards), topsoil furnishing and placement 4 (911 square yards), seeding Class 1A (0.19 acres), erosion control blanket (911 square yards), aggregate base course B 4 (2,346 square yards), aggregate base course B 5 (32 square yards), aggregate base course B 7 (233 square yards), aggregate base course B 10 (531 square yards), bituminous materials tack coat (29,349 pounds), HMA binder course IL-19.0 N50 (963 tons), prime HMA binder course IL-4.75 N50 (963 tons), HMA surface course IL-9.5 C N50 (6,551 tons), PCC pavement 8" (32 square yards), PCC driveway pavement 6" (281 square yards), portland cement concrete sidewalk 5" (16,372 square feet), detectable warnings (1,150 square feet), pavement removal (1,084 square yards), HMA surface removal 2 (65,438 square yards), combination curb and gutter removal (3,903 feet), sidewalk removal (16,007 feet), Class D patching of various thicknesses, area reflective crack control treatment (11,461 square yards), inlet adjustment, new inlet installation, combination curb and gutter T B-6.12 (3,903 feet), mobilization (lump sum), thermoplastic pavement marking line of various widths and types, raised reflective pavement markers (80 each), detection loop replacement (200 feet), on various streets throughout the City. Proposals shall be submitted on forms furnished by the City of Kankakee, which may be obtained at the office of Piggush Engineering, Inc. for a nonrefundable deposit for each hard copy set, or electronically at no charge. A proposal guarantee by bank cashier's check, certified check or proposal bid bond, in accordance with the Illinois Department of Transportation "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction" (adopted April 1, 2016), will be required. A surety bond for the full amount of the award will also be required. The "prevailing rate of wages" as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor shall apply. The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities.
