Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Bexley, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a 1,200-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot; 2,400-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot; 18,000-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot; and 1,080-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot.

** As of 4/2/26: Interested contractors can obtain a pdf copy of the bid documents by sending an email request to dbkoch@live.com, as the bid documents will only be furnished to contractors at this time.** The work consists of providing all labor, materials, and equipment for the following approximate quantities: 18,000 square feet of concrete sidewalk replacement, 2,400 square feet of concrete, 480 square yards of brick pavement, 1,200 square feet of curb ramp installation, and 120 square yards of brick pavement and sidewalk removal and replacement. Each contract (A, B, C, and D) will be awarded separately, and bidders may bid on any one or combination of these contracts. Each bid must include the full name and address of each interested party and be accompanied by a bond for 100% of the bid or a certified/cashier’s check or irrevocable letter of credit for 10% of the bid, payable to the City of Bexley, Ohio. If accepted, a contract must be entered into within 10 days after notice of acceptance. A performance bond for 100% of the contract amount with a satisfactory surety is required. Bidders must ensure non-discrimination in employment. The following documents must be completed and executed as required: Proposal, Non-collusion Affidavit, Corporation Affidavit (if applicable), Affidavit of Personal Property Tax Liability, Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond, Certified Check Document (if applicable), Detailed Statement of Qualifications and EDGE Certification(s), Sub-Contractors List, and Campaign Contribution Affidavit. Work must commence within 10 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed and must be completed within 180 days for Contract A, and 120 days for Contracts B, C, and D. Bidders are required to detail their experience in this class of work. Prevailing wage rates apply. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive technical defects as needed.
