Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bexley, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a 2,400-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
** As of 4/2/26: Interested contractors can obtain a pdf copy of the bid documents by sending an email request to dbkoch@live.com, as the bid documents will only be furnished to contractors at this time.** The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for approximately 2,400 square feet of concrete, 480 square yards of brick pavement, 1,200 square feet of curb ramp installation, and 120 square yards of brick pavement and sidewalk removal and replacement. Each proposal must include a full name and address, and be accompanied by a bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit for ten percent of the bid. A performance bond of one hundred percent of the contract amount with a satisfactory surety company is required. Bidders must ensure non-discrimination in employment, complete specific affidavits, guaranty and bond documents, and provide a detailed statement of qualifications and edge certifications. Subcontractors' lists and campaign contribution affidavits are also required. Work must commence within ten calendar days after a notice to proceed and be completed within 120 calendar days for this contract. Experience in similar work is a requirement for bidders. Prevailing wages must be paid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technical defects as needed.
