The work includes the maintenance of street lighting and associated appurtenances at various locations throughout the Village. Bids are to be addressed to the Village of Romeoville Department of Public Works and marked as specified. Bidding documents may be obtained upon presentation of Certification of Eligibility to bid with the State of Illinois from the Village of Romeoville Department of Public Works. No mailing of bid documents will be provided. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty as provided in the Illinois Department of Transportation- Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals contained in the 'Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions.' Bidders are required to comply with the Prevailing Wage Act, notify each subcontractor of the wage rates set forth in this contract and any revisions, and apply revised rates as provided by the public body. The Village of Romeoville reserves the right to waive technicalities and reject any or all proposals as provided in the IDOT BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals.
