This project generally includes improvements to site circulation and visitor amenities at the Isle a la Cache preserve, including construction of decorative paved pathways and gathering areas, installation of an accessible kayak launch, pavilion and longhouse area enhancements (native plantings, seat wall, interpretive path, outcropping walls and steps), and installation of pedestrian and parking lot lighting. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents and accompanied by the proper bid security. The Forest Preserve District of Will County reserves the right to accept any bid or any part or parts or combinations thereof, to waive any informalities or irregularities, and to reject any or all bids.
