The proposed improvement is part of the public highway system in the County of Cook, State of Illinois and includes bridge rehabilitation at the following locations: Devon Ave over Salt Creek, Lake Cook Rd over Buffalo Creek, Central Ave over Illinois Central Railroad, Sunset Ridge Rd over North Branch Chicago River, Wheeling Rd over McDonald Creek, Edens Frontage Rd over Skokie River, Wolf Rd. over Salt Creek, Schoenbeck Rd over McDonald Creek, and West Lake Ave over Des Plaines River. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or a properly certified check for not less than 5% of the amount of the bid. All bids must be submitted electronically and uploaded to the specified portal, following the instructions in the Bid Solicitation document. MWBE Goals are set at 24% MBE and 7% WBE.
