Renovation of a detention facility in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a four-story above grade detention facility.
The project is an air conditioning duct replacement at the Pretrial Detention Center on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th floors. The objective is to improve HVAC performance, indoor air quality, and operational reliability while maintaining uninterrupted facility operations. The contractor is required to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, transportation, supervision, debris removal, and any additional resources necessary to complete the duct replacement project in accordance with county standards, building codes, and safety requirements. Bidders and all subcontractors must hold a valid, current, and active State and/or Miami-Dade County contractor’s license consistent with the requirements of the scope of work. Registering with Miami-Dade County must be done via their automated web-based vendor registration portal.
