Demolition, site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Lowell, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 23-unit multi-residential development; for the construction of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
The Lowell Housing Authority, in collaboration with its nonprofit development affiliate, Revitalization Effort Toward New Urbanism (RENU), is seeking both for-profit and nonprofit entities interested in serving as Development Partner for Quimby Avenue Parcel 2, to submit proposals. RENU aims to demolish an existing warehouse and develop at least 23 affordable units in the Highlands neighborhood of Lowell, Massachusetts. The site is currently owned by LHA, near the Highland Parkway public housing development, and comprises 0.547 acres bounded by existing development. All proposals will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30B, and vendors must adhere to its guidelines. The LHA reserves the right to amend or cancel the RFP, accept or reject any and all proposals, and waive minor informalities.
