The work involves removing snow and controlling ice on Greenland Cove Road under a three-year contract covering the 2026/2027 through 2028/2029 seasons. Services must be provided for 3 miles of road, the Town Parking lot, and the Life Flight helipad. The Town will supply salt and sand, to be stored at the Town gravel pit, for the contractor's use. The contractor is responsible for supplying all necessary equipment and must provide certificates of liability/property damage insurance with coverage of $500,000 and worker's compensation insurance or approved Predetermination of Independent Contractor Status. Bidders should submit sealed bids clearly marked "Greenland Cove Road Bid" by mail to the Town of Danforth, including an equipment list specifying type and size. Details of contract specifications are available from the Town Office. The successful bidder must provide all required insurance certificates within fifteen days of being awarded the contract. The Selectmen reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
