Reference Number 0000419102 Aurora Water is seeking a qualified design-build contractor to furnish and install a complete turnkey in-conduit micro-hydroelectric energy recovery system at the existing Potomac PRV vault (3943'06.5"N 10449'42.5"W). The system shall capture excess hydraulic head currently dissipated through pressure reduction and convert that energy into renewable electrical power while maintaining full pressure control reliability within the potable water system. The Contractor shall provide a turnkey installation including all engineering, permitting, equipment procurement, electrical upgrades, utility coordination, installation, testing, commissioning, and training. The completed system shall operate continuously and reliably without compromising pressure control, redundancy, or system operations. The system shall replicate the control philosophy and operational approach used at Aurora Water's previously implemented micro-hydro installation, with adjustments as necessary to match site-specific conditions.
