Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bremen, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project will resurface the existing Highland Blvd street and includes pavement repairs, sidewalk replacement, curb replacement, and catch basin replacement. Bidders are required to provide bid security in the form of a bid bond of 100 percent of the bid price or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid amount to guarantee entrance into a contract if awarded. Each bid must state the full name of the submitting party and all interested persons. Bidders must submit evidence of experience on similar projects, and a complete listing of all subcontractors. Offers must be submitted on the provided bid form. Bidders must ensure non-discrimination in employment and comply with Ohio's equal employment opportunity requirements. Ohio products, materials, services, and labor should be used where practicable, and compliance with prevailing wage rates for Fairfield County is required. Offers are irrevocable for 60 days after submission. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality, and accept any bid deemed lowest and best.
