Site work for a fire / police facility in Stillwater, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.
The work includes the construction of approximately: removal of 905 square yards of bituminous pavement, installation of 36 linear feet of curb and gutter design B618, 230 cubic yards of common excavation, placement of 90 tons of Type SP 9.5 wear course (3,C), 200 cubic yards of aggregate base (CV) class 5, 450 cubic yards of structural backfill, installation of 520 square yards of 6-inch concrete pavement, 365 linear feet of 4-inch PVC draintile, drilling and grouting of 175 dowel bars, installation of one roof drain inlet with casting, along with numerous related items, all in accordance with plans and specifications. The project is subject to Buy American Iron and Steel Provisions, Build America Buy America, and Responsible Contractor Certification. All work must be completed by 10/15/26. A bid shall be submitted online no later than the prescribed date and time. Only online electronic bids through QuestCDN will be accepted. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through QuestCDN for bids to be accepted. All prospective contractors must comply with the minimum criteria for a "responsible contractor" as defined in Minn. Stat. 16C.285, subd. 3. A Proposal Bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid is required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if the Owner determines this would best serve its interest.
