Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Kimberly, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project involves the construction of a new park facility, which will include 3 tennis courts, 8 pickle ball courts, 1 basketball court, 1 pavilion, a parking lot, water, sewer, storm sewer improvements, lighting, grading, erosion control, and all associated appurtenances. All qualified bidders are invited to submit a bid under sealed envelope. Bids must comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246 prohibiting discrimination in employment, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis Bacon Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, and the Contract Work Hours Act. Bidders must also adhere to requirements regarding conditions of employment, minimum wage rates, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, and E.O. 11246. This project is subject to all other federal requirements for federally funded projects including Buy American Preference, Trade Restriction Certification, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, Procurement of Recovered Materials, Debarment and Suspension, and Lobbying and Influencing Federal Employees.
