Renovation of an educational facility in Trezevant, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for The West Carroll Elementary School Security Upgrades for West Carroll Special School District in Atwood, TN. Bids will be received for the following Bid Packages: Doors and Windows. Plans, specifications, and contract documents may be examined at several specified locations. Bids must be submitted on the provided Bid Form, and all bidders must be licensed contractors as required by TCA 62-6-119(2016). The Bidder’s Name, License Number, Expiration Date, and License Classification must be placed on the sealed envelope containing the executed Bid Form. All bids exceeding $25,000.00 require a bid bond or a cashier’s/certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid sum. Successful bidders for bid packages over $25,000.00 must provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the subcontract sum, with bonding companies rated "A" or better. All Labor and Material and Labor Only Bidders must attach the Drug Free Work Place Affidavit. Bids must be submitted on the provided Bid Form and cannot be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening. Bidders must comply with Tennessee Code Annotated Section 49-5-413 regarding criminal history records checks for employees. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any and all bids, and accept the best evaluated bid. No sub-contract is implied until a written sub-contract is signed by all parties. Bids may be submitted in person, by fax, by email, by U.S. mail, or by delivery service, with specific requirements for each submission method. Faxed and emailed bids must be time stamped before noon on the specified date and must include all required documents. Emailed or faxed copies of bid security checks are not accepted.
