Description

The work involves furnishing and placing crushed limestone and furnishing riprap. The contractor is required to provide all necessary material, labor, and equipment to complete the work specified. All work must strictly follow the requirements of Section 306 of the Michigan Department of Transportation 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction and any additional specifications provided. Bids must be submitted on the designated forms in a clearly marked, sealed envelope; faxed or emailed bids are not accepted. All projects listed must be completed on or before September 30, 2026. Liquidated damages of $100 per day per project will be charged, starting from October 1, 2026, for all limestone placement projects at the discretion of the Engineer. Addenda must be noted and initialed. Contractors downloading plans online should email to be added to the plan holders list to receive addenda.
