Renovation of an industrial development in Covington, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development.
The City of Covington is seeking sealed proposals from qualified licensed contractors to perform building modifications and improvements at 5144 Turner Street. The project scope includes: enclosing an existing opening in a metal building, installing roll-up doors and a walk-through door, installing a structural floor over an existing dumpster pit, upgrading insulation, installing an exhaust fan, and repairing exterior building damage. Bidders' competency and responsibility will be considered. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or proposals, to waive informalities and technicalities, to reject portions of bids, and to award contracts as consistent with City and State of Georgia laws. Bidders are instructed to submit one original, one copy, and one PDF digital copy of their proposal on a flash drive, marked as TURNER STREET BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS #2026-06, addressed to the City of Covington Purchasing Department.
