The project involves the Computing Center - IACS Server Room Expansion at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. The contractor is required to provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to complete structural steel, mechanical, plumbing, and finish work. This includes providing and installing new structural steel dunnage framing on the existing roof, installing new mechanical equipment and all associated plumbing work on multiple floors, restoring all areas disturbed by the work to existing conditions, and coordinating all work with ongoing operations and construction activities being performed by the University and other contractors. Only contractors attending the mandatory site visit are eligible to bid. Bids must be submitted via and must include security in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid. All bidders are expected to cooperate in encouraging minority and women business enterprise participation. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
