Site work and paving for a residential development in West Baden Springs, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development.
The project consists of the Town of West Baden Springs FY26 CCMG Project, specifically the Tomlinson Estates Subdivision Resurface, which includes work on Woodlawn Drive and Valley View Drive, and county pike grading. The proposed construction will include a 1.5-inch mill and HMA resurface, installation of sidewalks, storm sewer system, and all incidental work required, as fully specified in the contract documents and plans. All proposals must be submitted on State Board of Accounts Form No. 96 with all proper forms from the contract documents, filed intact. Bidders must obtain complete sets of drawings and contract documents. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, cashier's check or money order in the amount of 5% of the bid, or a bid bond for Indiana-based businesses. The successful contractor must provide a performance bond and payment bond for 100% of the contract price within ten days of the award, and a two-year maintenance bond for 30% of the contract price prior to completion and final payment. Bids may be held for up to ninety days from opening, and no contractor may withdraw a proposal within that period. The Town Council reserves the right to request clarifications, compare bids based on more than price, and reject or waive technicalities or irregularities in proposals. All questions concerning the letting of this project shall be submitted in writing to the Design Consultant (USI Consultants, Inc. Attention: Vance Epple, 8415 E. 56th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46216 Vepple@usiconsultants.com) prior to 12:00 p.m. local time, April 13th, 2026.
