The Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission is requesting proposals for the design of a sidewalk in Williamstown, Vermont. The project will produce concept designs for a sidewalk and crosswalk to connect Williamstown schools to the village either via Brush Hill Road and crossing VT-64 to connect to Memorial Park at the end of Methodist Lane, or via Construction Hill Road. The work will include cost estimates and phasing for future efforts. Plans must incorporate Vermont Agency of Transportation guidelines for pedestrian facilities and provide fully ADA compliant landing areas on both sides of the road. The selected consultant will work under the direction of the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission and collaborate with its staff, VTrans, and a steering committee of local municipal and community representatives. Proposals must be clearly marked and emailed to the specified contact. Proposals sent via fax will not be accepted.
