The scope of work is the removal of all flagged ash trees (blue, pink, and orange flagging) in the town right of way on both sides of Royalton Hill Road, beginning at the upper intersection with Davis Road and continuing for a distance up to 1.8 miles to the lower intersection of Davis Road. Stumps must be left at no more than six inches in height, all chips must be removed, and wood should be left out of the roadway in a safe area to allow for future roadwork and ditch maintenance. The contractor is permitted to remove wood from parcels where landowners do not wish to retain felled trees, as shown on the accompanying map. Work includes cutting and stacking logs and chipping or removing branches as described. Bidders are directed to check Appendix I for wood disposal directions for each landowner.
