Site work and paving for a road / highway in Essex Junction, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The contract generally includes the following work items on East Street, Church Street, and Main Street: supply and install approximately 700 tons of Type IV Bituminous Concrete Pavement, Top Course; supply and install approximately 230 tons of Type IV Bituminous Concrete Pavement, Shim; cold plane approximately 7,210 square yards of existing pavement up to 2 inches thick; install approximately 1,510 linear feet of 4-inch solid white line and approximately 3,360 linear feet of 4-inch solid yellow line; pavement markings to include stop bars, crosswalks, bike lane arrow and symbol, and railroad crossing markings; provide traffic control packages. All work will be in accordance with drawings, specifications, and other contract documents and information prepared by the City. Digital drawings, specifications, and other contract documents may be obtained by contacting the Engineer. Prospective bidders must be added to the Plan Holder List to receive access to the project documents and be eligible to submit a bid. Each bid must be accompanied by an acceptable bid guaranty in an amount equal to at least five percent of the bid. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. If awarded the contract, the contractor agrees to complete the work in its entirety, as shown on the contract plans, within the specified schedule. There are no exceptions to the schedule. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
