Skamania County is seeking qualifications for on-call structural engineering firms with expertise in NBI bridge inspections, load rating, scour appraisal/analyses, and SNBI compliance. The scope of work includes: Bridge Inspections (including UBIT and traffic control services) for structures such as the N-Bonne-2 Evergreen Bridge, STVNSN-1 Rock Creek Bridge 2, and other bridge structures as needed; Bridge Load Rating (WA-105 Truck, Oversize/Overload Permitting, etc.); and WSBIM (Bridgeworks) SNBI data entry and compliance review (including scour and seismic). The work is anticipated to occur from April 2026 through April 2028 to align with a two-year routine bridge inspection cycle. Consultant submittals must adhere to requirements, special provisions, evaluation criteria, and procurement schedule available at the agency's provided website. Submittals are due no later than 10:00 A.M. on April 9, 2025. Submittals after this time will not be accepted. The contract type is a Local Agency Professional Service Negotiated Hourly Rate Consultant Agreement. There is no DBE goal established; a voluntary 10% SBE is included. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. "Requests for proposals for design services is underway."
