Reference Number 0000418684 Purchase Type Duration: 1 year Option: four one year options Bid Intent Optional Bid Intent Deadline 04/13/2026 05:00 PM EDT The Rockland County Sewer District No. 1 (RCSD No. 1) is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide emergency sludge hauling including all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, transportation, permits and incidentals necessary to pump, transport and legally dispose of liquid sludge from its wastewater treatment facilities to an approved sludge disposal facility. The intent of this contract is to ensure rapid response capabilities in the event of equipment failure, process upset, plant capability limitations, emergency maintenance conditions or other operational needs as determined by the district. Service will be approximately 90-126 tankers per week spread over 7 days per week until emergency is concluded. Estimated 6,000 gallons per truck per pick up.
