Questions regarding this bid must be submitted in writing to the attention of Lacoma Jones, at procurement@faypwc.com no later than 5:00 p.m., EST, Monday, March 23, 2026 in order to be considered for a response. Fayetteville Public Works Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive minor informalities or technicalities as permitted by law, to disregard nonconforming or nonresponsive bids, and to re-advertise for bids if deemed in the best interest of PWC. The purpose of this Invitation for Bids is to solicit proposals from qualified contractors to perform herbicide application services within prescribed sanitary sewer collection and water distribution system right-of-way's. The contractor will be required to furnish all necessary equipment, materials, labor, herbicide, transportation, supervision, and incidentals necessary to chemically treat all fast growing brush and tree species within the prescribed sanitary sewer collection and water distribution system utility easements and right-of-ways. The treatment shall include thorough coverage of any tree or brush and creek banks and shall be in accordance with these specifications. Also, all areas in and around utility structures are to be treated. It is the objective of the Public Works Commission to leave as much desirable low growing vegetation as possible on the right-of-way's.
