This project is for furnishing guardrail materials for the Department of Water and Power. Required materials include Caltrans Midwest Guardrail Element, 12-gauge galvanized steel, Caltrans galvanized steel I-beam posts, plastic blocks, end caps, guardrail delineators, flexible delineators, various highway and road signage (such as chevron, speed limit, winding road, and two miles signs), and associated mounting hardware. All materials must meet specified Caltrans technical specifications and standard plans, with some items requiring compliance with AASHTO M 180 and MUTCD standards. Bidders must state the manufacturer name and part number for each quoted item, and if quoting an alternate manufacturer, supply a sample and specification sheet by the bid closing for evaluation. The award will be made as a whole and a complete bid on all items is required. Only responses submitted through the designated online system will be accepted. Bidders are instructed to read all bid specifications, submit required forms electronically, and review bidding forms prior to the closing time.
