The work involves removal of existing asphalt pavement and granular base course materials throughout the Administration Building parking lot; localized subbase repairs at areas of soft or wet soils using cement stabilization or localized removal and replacement of subbase materials, with locations determined by proof-roll testing; placement and compaction of new granular base materials; placement and compaction of new asphalt pavement materials; line painting generally to match existing layout; localized concrete curb and island repairs at areas of deterioration; localized reinforced concrete topping removal and replacement at Level P3 where designated, including required concrete substrate and reinforcement preparation, terminations, and control joint detailing; and materials testing of subgrade materials, concrete, and asphalt pavement.
