The City of Lakeport requests Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide design services for ADA upgrades at the Silveira Community Center. The project focuses on designing plans to bring the building's bathrooms and exterior access routes into compliance with current ADA standards and the California Building Code. The selected consultant's primary responsibility is to provide a design that achieves the required ADA compliance upgrades within the available grant budget while meeting all applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Proposers are highly encouraged to physically visit the site prior to submission, with arrangements made 48 hours in advance. The project must address historical building information, including prior asbestos and lead testing, previous electrical and HVAC upgrades, and partial abatement. The selected consultant will also need to ensure the project complies with requirements set forth in completed NEPA and CEQA documentation.
