Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bedford, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
General contractors are invited to provide all labour, materials, and equipment necessary to improve road safety, operational logistics, and climate resilience, while bringing the roadway and associated infrastructure into compliance with current transportation and environmental standards. Bidders must include Indigenous businesses (or eligible joint ventures) as subcontractors or suppliers. The work includes all construction costs, on-site work, required services, parking, landscaping, site utilities, redundant mechanical systems, communication conduits and wiring, backup power equipment, built-in equipment, and built-in furniture. Only general contractors who respond to this Request for Expression of Interest will be invited to submit a bid during the Tender Phase. Bids must be submitted through the Electronic Bidding System. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
