This notice is to inform contractors and consultants of upcoming contract opportunities at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, for Real Property Operations Group (RP OPS) and Canadian Forces Housing Agency (CFHA) base program. The scope includes contracts that may cover a variety of real property operations and housing requirements and may have security requirements. Projects could include work at CFB Gander and its satellite sites, which support distributed military operations, logistics, training, administration, and housing infrastructure. Contractors and consultants may need to obtain security clearances to be eligible for award. Some projects may be reserved for Indigenous businesses in accordance with the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB). Interested parties should prepare by assessing their capacity and may begin the security clearance sponsorship application process if required. Future contracts will be subject to separate tendering or request for proposal processes through mechanisms such as open competitive tenders, Open Construction Source List (OCSL), source lists for professional services, and Standing Offer Agreements (SOA).
