Renovation of a military facility in Tyndall AFB, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Description of Work: This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the Government's requirement for design, procurement, and installation of an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) in building 503. The Air Combat Training Center (ACTC) has a need for a new physical IDS. The current system is approaching the end of life, having been installed in 2005, with parts no longer commercially available. This necessitates a full replacement of all sensors, installation of new cabling, installation of new access panels, and removal of all old items of the current IDS. The installation shall be done in parallel with the current system to not interfere with daily operations or create a fault. Design shall include at a minimum: o Two Honeywell Premise Control Unit (PCU), o Two Honeywell Site Commander, o Sufficient UL 634 listed Level II High Security Switches (HSS), o UL 639 listed motion sensors (otherwise known as PIRs) All items will meet the physical security compliance requirements of the Air Force Instruction (AFI) 31-101 and Intelligence Community Technical Specification for ICD/ICS-705 Chapter 7, Tyndall AFB specifications, ESE-SIT-0001 for protection of assets, and UL 2050 Extent 3
