Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a military facility in Tyndall AFB, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility; for the addition of a 2,000-square-foot military facility; for the demolition of a military facility; and for site work for a military facility.
The project repurposes Building 1265 at Tyndall Air Force Base and constructs an approximately 2,000-square-foot addition that includes a secure area. Work includes developing a new facility layout incorporating office spaces, secure areas, and mission-supporting additions. The design effort requires 65%, 95%, and 100% submittals that incorporate all necessary requirements and end-user changes from earlier versions. Geo-technical surveys for the building foundation are part of the contract, and slurry boring activities may require the contractor to haul hazardous material off site. In accordance with FAR 36.204(g), the estimated magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
